1st steep 5s: Wow. This might be the sweetest black tea I've ever tasted. It's candy-like, almost, delivering a deliciously sweet flavor with notes of sweet potato pie with subtle vegetal and floral notes (i.e. like chamomile or rose petals).

This was an extremely easy to drink tea and one I can imagine also working well as a Western style brew. I'll definitely have to add a bigger bag of this tea to my collection!
The story behind each cup makes it even more special. Love supporting this amazing brand!
One of the most gorgeously delicious and complex teas I have had the pleasure of tasting in my life. From a small farm in rural Enshi, China, this yellow tea has so many layers and changes in each brew to evolve from sweet and floral to earthy and malty to grassy with minerals. A fabulous tea that I would highly recommend!
I brewed it earlier this week. Grassy of course, but with an unexpected lime fragrance as well, warming to baking spice. A little bit of bitterness that goes smoothly with the hazelnut note on the palate. If I had some more, l'd love to try this as a cold brew too
