Our green tea leaves come from several core production areas in Enshi, and are processed and roasted by Master Xie and Master Liu, who live in the Baiyangping community of Enshi. (If you are interested in the tea tree varieties, please check the related articles.)
Master Xie and Master Liu are a local couple and villagers of Baiyangping, Enshi. They grow their own tea leaves and are skilled in tea production. They personally select fresh leaves and produce various types of tea.
Ten years ago, fresh tea leaves in Baiyangping sold for less than $2 per kilo. Over the years, as the tea industry has spread in the village, the price of fresh tea leaves has gradually increased, and their lives have improved significantly.
Liu is an excellent cook, known for curing meats at home, and their stir-fried local potatoes are especially delicious.
