FlowinverseTea Farm - Prepare for the Dry Season!

Weather in May

Since May, the main tea production areas in Enshi have experienced favorable light and temperature conditions, with an average temperature of 20.8°C, 1.0°C higher than the historical average for the same period.  The weather was a mix of sun and rain, with good temperature and humidity conditions benefiting the growth of tea plants.

Totaling 125.4 hours sunshine, , which is 13.4 hours more than the historical average, provided good light conditions for tea trees.

Weather in June & Forecast

In early June (June 1st - 10th), the overall intensity of rainfall was relatively mild, though there were many rainy days. We expect light to moderate rain between June 7th-10th, espcially heavy rain in some areas tonight.

It is expected that the number of rainy days in mid-June will be relatively fewer than in early June, but rainfall will significantly increase from late mid-June onwards.

Tea Farm Management Plan This Month

Now, we are in the rainy season. Whether on flat or sloped tea farms, drainage facilities should be checked to avoid waterlogging.
After rain, promptly shallow till the soil to loosen it and cut down any tall weeds on the terrace walls and around the tea garden to strengthen pest and disease control.

We will also need to complete the mulching of the tea farm by late June to prepare for the following dry season.
